Question DVD for Toyota Sequoia SR5

I just bought a 2006 Toyoya Sequoia SR5. The salesman told me they could install a 10 inch DVD, but today I was told they are not able to do that due to the the way the middle console is installed on the top of the ceiling. It is the kind that has a few compartments for sunglasses. Does anyone know if a 9 or 10 inch DVD screen can be installed on this car? Is there another company that can do it?

I have the stock DVD in mine and it is fine (7") I bet if you go to a customizing shop they will hook you up. West Coast Customs has like a crazy 17" DVD system. How is the Bay area? I got my Naval start there at TI and most of my tats at Goldfields on Broadway.

I love the Bay Area. I can't believe the temps are still in the high 70's right now, and it's mid November. Looks like the dealership can't deliver on their promise to install a 10" DVD in the Sequioa. They offered to install two Vizualogic 7" DVD's in the headrests instead. Circuit City said they could install a 10" screen, but they would have to cut away part of the middle console on the ceiling. I am leaning toward the headrests.
Your team is doing better then my Raiders this year, good luck in the playoffs.

HNEVAREZJR, The headrest DVD's look awesome I saw a Sequoia out here in Maryland with them in. I am originally from Seattle Area and I love the HAWKS, good thing for the AFC West we went to the NFC West. Good luck on your adventure with the DVD's....don't settle for second best with our rides.

I had an 05 sequioa and have a system for sale that will fit your Sequioa. I have a 6.5" screen that fits perfectly in the fourth sunglass holder and a dvd player with tv tuner that mounts in a center console. I have everything you need including wires fm transmitter, antennas, and wirelss headphones. A shop here in Los Angeles special ordered the sytem for me but I had to take it out of my truck recently because my Sequioa went back as a "lemon". I was having problems with my tire pressure sensor and the dealer could not fix the problem so toyota bought back my Sequioa and I had to take all after market stuff off. I'm selling the whole system for $350. It was origanlly $950. If you would like to see pictures please e mail me at therock5@aol.com
