Sequoia windshield washer adjustments

I'm the proud owner of a new '05 Sequoia. I drove it in the rain for
the first time this week and discovered that the windshield washer
doesn't hit as high on the glass as I'd like. Well, for the life of
me, I can't figure out any way to adjust the point of impact. I have
the shop manual, but it's pretty much useless for this one. It tells
me to make a tool which basically looks like a straight pin, but on
the front, there doesn't seem to be any place to actually use
it. There's one giant hole, but the pin just waffles about in there.

What am I missing?

I just went out back and checked....from the looks of it i dont think it can be done unless this tool is the same square size as the hole and then you might be able to tilt that thing, but you should be very careful not to pop it out.
