Sound System upgrade 1994 Land Cruiser help!

Hi, I have a 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser and I want to upgrade my sound system. I am very confused about how to upgrade my speaker’s can any one gives me ideas on what brand to buy? I sort of want a lot of base but I don't really want to put a woofer in the back of my trunk any one has a good idea of what to get?

i just bought a '94 with 122,000 mi and love it. i've noticed the sound is tinny even with the 1/2 dozen speakers, which, on an 11yo car, i'm guessing is the issue. you'd be amazed what the techs at Best Buy can do with sound if you're willing to drop the cash and buy someone lunch.

I'd love to hear what you had done at Best Buy. I have a 1996 and won't even listen to the radio it sounds so bad. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I am amazed at how little help is available on this forum, especially when it sounds like everyone has issues with their sound.
