Just had my Landcruiser FJ60 reupholstered

We just had our FJ60 reupholstered with head restraints added to our back seat and a 3rd row seat added to the cargo area. All the work was done by a Modesto, CA area company that specializes in 3rd row seats for SUV’s, Little Passenger Seats. They did an outstanding job and have greatly improved the utility of our FJ. Thought some of you other FJ60-62 owners may be interested. I have attached some photos also.

Cool

I've been looking into that vintage of LC for our second car and seeing your modifications, I think I'm going to get serious about my search! Those look great.

I always wondered if there were aftermarket shoulder belt kits like that. I wonder if there's a good place out here in CT or the NYC area that does that type of work.

Thanks for the pics.

That is really awesome! I have an FJ40, FJ60 and an FJ80. My wife and I actually like the 60 better, but the interior is shot, plus it doesn't have 3rd row seating like the 80 or van. We are considering selling the 40 and 80 and restoring the 60.

Are those headrests for an FJ62? Did the shop get them? Does the 3rd seat have a quick release bracket so you can face it forward or rearward? I swear those pics show it both ways?

the Headrests were added onto the seat by the shop. Also, the 3rd row seat can be placed front or rear facing. There is no quick release system, the seat is just bolted to the mounting system. Even though the seat is bolted in, it is still pretty easy to remove or put back in.
