Starting Problem
Hi Everyone,
My name is Ross & I live in Exmouth Western Australia. I have a 2006 100 Series Turbo & am experiencing some starting difficulties. First thing in the morning the vehicle will start ok, but if I only move it a short distance, ie move it in the driveway, the next time I go to start, it needs to be cranked a few times to get it to go. On a few occasions, about 5 to 10 seconds after the first start , the idle drops off & then picks up again. A couple of times it has actually stalled, & I have found the best way to get it to go again, is to prime the fuel system. I have been talking to Toyota about it & they have never heard of this happening. I Have had the filter head replaced, but this has made no differance. Seems as though the fuel is draining back.
If anyone has had this problem or has any ideas as to how to rectify, I would appreciate their input.
