European Union Upgrading a Land Cruiser

Hi,

I am new to the site so please excuse any communication errors ...

Some advice is needed based on your experience with your Land Cruiser's.

I live in Europe (Greece), I believe the specs of my LC are slightly different to the US specs :

Land Cruiser 90 (3.400cc, V6), 5door (8 seats), 2001 model with appx. 100,000 miles.

It is great!!! on and off road ..... but I would like to upgrade 1 or 2 things:

a) Suspension (my LC has independent from suspension) - Driving sometimes in rough conditions, I feel that it would help to add a few inches height. However, officially TOYOTA does not recommend this. Can you provide some practical advice on what to use to increase the height without (or to the minimum) comprimising on the overall excellent performance on and off the road that the car already has?

b) Air locking differentials - I am tempted to install an ARB air locking kit for the rear differential (front also is possible but having IFS if it is not used problably, damages are easy to occur). Have you experienced any side effects from using such kits?

Thanks,
Christopher

Check the 90 Series forum on the Ih8mud board; www.ih8mud.com

Here is the link to that forum (the above link is the home page for it);
