Suggestions for Land Cruisers

Hello everyone. New to the forum. I used to own a Jeep SRT8 and received invaluable info from the members there and hope to do the same here.

I used to won a 94 LC about 10 years ago and just purchased a 99 with only 61k miles on it. Have had it checked out and it only needed a power steering flush.

I used my old Silverstar Ultra's (headlights, fogs and hi-beams) from my jeep to upgrade the headlights, Zaino'd the LC last week (it looks awesome!), and just bought a K&N drop-in filter for increased HP and [maybe] mileage.

I have burned thru three bulbs (brake, parking) in the first week. Is this typical? I don't think so, and perhaps they were burned when I bought it, but definitely one burned on me the first week.

I have the whirring noise when it's cold, but otherwise it runs great.

Any other suggestions that have made ownership better/more fun/easier/longer lasting? Thanks in advance!!

Oil changes religiously, fuel filters, air filters and normal all around up keep and you should run through 150K no problems. Exaust manifolds start go at this range. I have has 2 major issues with my 89. New transmission at 115K and just did the manifold before it got bad at 140k. Other than these issues you will enjoy it for as long as you can keep it.
