2002 Factory Nav Question

I am in the process of replacing the factory nav on my 02 cruiser. I am going with the alpine 2din unit. The problem seems to be that the climate controls are built into the nav unit (above the screen) and by replacing the unit I would loose all a/c controls.

Has anyone had to deal with this or know what to do??

I'll reply for those in the future. You can not fully replace the entire factory nav bc you will not have climate controls. I did find a company to replace the LCD screen for $225. Can't beat that, the dealership wanted 7k to replace and said it couldn't be repaired.

Can you email me the info of the company that you found for the cost of $225. I might need them in the future because I had the same one as yours. jimdanno@yahoo.com Thanks.

Same Here. I am going through having to deal with dealers wanter way too much $$$ for anything, including my CD changer. This will be good for future possibilities.
