USA New 92 Land Cruiser Owner ? about rebuiding the motor (torque specs)

Hi guys,

I'm a Newbie to the Land Cruiser, but I have a couple of 4 Runners, and used to have a Supra, so not new to Toyota.

I'm rebuilding the motor, and was wondering if anyone knows the torque specs for the following...

Head Bolts

Main Bearing

Rod Bearing

Your help would be much appreciated.

Seng

Welcome to the addiction!

Here are a couple of recommendations;

1 - Get the Factory Service Manual! I can't recommend this enough. They are spendy, about $80 from the dealer. Sometimes you can find one on eBay though.

2 - Check out www.ih8mud.com. This is the most comprehensive Land Cruiser board, period. There are seperate forums for each series of Cruisers. Post your question there. There are more Cruiser experts on the "Mud" board than anywhere else!

Good Luck.

Bill

Edit add: BTW, I have a motor (3FE) Tranny (A440F) and transfer case out of a 92 Cruiser if you need them. They have about 190K on them.
