I love everything about my 1999 Land Cruiser. When I bought it used, about 7 years ago, I noticed that the high-mount brake light flashed (not on and off, but on-low and on-high) about 11 times whenever I stepped on the brake. After the 11th flash, it would stay on-high. I really liked this "feature". It was distinctive and may have had some slight safety benefit too. But recently I noticed that it stopped. I think it stopped the last time I had it in for inspection a month ago. Now when I step on the brake, it just comes on - how boring. Does anyone know anything about this "feature". Most importantly, how I might be able to turn it back on? Any/all replies appreciated DiskEyes
