LC 200 series Off-road tires
Hi All,
I just recently bought a 2008 Land Cruiser, and it's great. I would like bigger, off-road tires, though. Nothing crazy, but in the 33.5-34" range, to get an additional inch of ground clearance. That will be hard with the limited clearance between the upper ball joint and the inner tire side wall. My questions, simply put, are:
1. What is the biggest tire I can fit in the stock wheel well (o.d. and width) without compromising suspension travel?
2. What wheel offset (or backspace, whichever) is required to center the wheel in the wheel well?
3. Who makes wheels like that, and where do I buy them? 17 or 18 inchers are fine.
