88 FJ62 with 239K miles....

It has been sitting for 2 years and i wanted to start it up. any procedures so i don't harm it? Thanks.

You need to move this to the Land Cruiser forum, the FJ Cruiser is no relation to your FJ62 Land Cruiser.

But the basics would be drain the fuel and put new fuel in. Let it crank awhile with out actually starting, to get the oil flowing throughout and lube the long dry parts. And of course, check the oil level first.

Actually, since it has been seating for that long, I would suggest to change the oil & filter before you start cranking. Once it starts, let it idle for around 20 minutes and check your cooling system. Take it for a short 5 mile drive.
