1982 Landcruiser brake faliure

Recently replaced master cylinder; breaks worked for about a week. Breaks go to the floor and work minimally now. It sounds like air is coming in from around the master cylinder resivor. No loss of break fluid. Bled breaks in proper sequence and still no effect. Do you think my master cylinder has failed again?

yes, it is possible that the master is broken. It is no longer sealed from the inside and let the fluid go around the seal.

It is probably guaranteed. Will replace it.

Sart (again) with a new one and let see...

If you replaced the brake MC with a remanned one, it's quite possible it is bad. Remmaned parts do not have the best rep.
