Importing a Prado or Land Cruiser

I was interested in importing either a Prado or Land Cruiser. I was wondering what are the main differences? What sort of MPG would I expect from these? The Prado is a 1993 with the 3lt turbo diesel and the LC is 1992 with the 4.2lt turbo diesel.

I know the LC is bigger and the Prado is boxier but as for axles and 4WD systems are they much different? Are they about the same for working on?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
