Interior color - 1966 FJ40

Hi all. I'm new to the forum. Recently picked up a 1966 FJ40, the first that I've owned; though I've had friends and family that have owned FJ-40's for years.

Question: What color should the interior be? My exterior is a beige-type color. It's been repainted, and I don't know if this is the original color. Looking at paint chips I would say it is close to code T-1262 Volcanic Beige. The interior is white on the floors and sort of a turquois color on the dash and inner doors. So, does anyone know what color my floors & dash should be?

Thanks in advance.

Bill

It shoulb be the same as the exterior.

You can see on your ID plate. The original color is show by a code.

Wow, that was a quick reply! Thanks David. I had a feeling that was how it should be. I'll run the codes and see what the original color is too, even though I'm not going to be painting the exterior.

Thanks again!

Whoops, I see that the "extra descriptive" ID plate wasn't in use until 1976, so I guess I'm SOL on doing any type of code-checking. But at least I know that the inside should be the same as the exterior.
