erratic starting?

first, let me say I am new to toyota forum and am excited to learn and hopefully get some help with my wifes car.

We have a 99 landcruiser, it has had some hard starting problems lately. When we try to start it, it will sometimes start right up, other times is will crank but not start. If I pump the pedal about three times it might start. Other times I let it sit for about 5 minutes and it will start again.

I have cleaned the throttle plate in the throttle body, cleaned battery terminals. I will be doing the fuel filter tomorrow. It has 150,000 on it.

This problem is getting anoying and I don't want my wife to get stranded cause its her daily driver, does anyone have any ideas where to start?

Original starter? The early 100 had starter issues. Be my first guess.
