FJ Cruiser Marketing Campaign

They say they will do no TV advertising. Will market to enthusiasts of the FJ line of Land Cruisers. WIsh I was still involved in off roading with my Toyota now.

Well, the name "FJ" kind of speaks for itself. Its a legend in the off-roading world.

Oh I agre completely. However people that are hardcore into off roading and doing it in FJ's are sorta like Jeep people. When Jeep started going to IFS on their vehciles there were a lot fo people that were really pissed. The same can be said for Toyota drivers. How many late eighties and early nineties Toyota 4x4's get the solid axle conversion. The old FJ's were jsut bulletproof and I think it may be hard for them to really get those type people to get real excited about the new one. I may be wrong and hopefully I am not. The only thing is most of the people that can afford an FJ now are probably not reallly the type of people that are going to be buying the new FJCruiser. They are driving the LX470 and V8 LandCruiser around for every day drving.
