Canada My New Ride

i just picked up my new FJ CRUISER yesterday its a blue automatic package c and we love it. i test drove every SUV in town befor deciding on the FJ. but as far as bang for the buck goes you cant beat this vehicle. a few of the vehicles i test drove were a waste of time i took a brand new jeep commander out and it handled like crap and the power mirrors didnt work. i took a kia sorento out and one of the pistons to hold the back hatch up was broken i lifted the hatch and let it go it fell back down and almost knockd me out. the only vehicles that came close were a nissan xterra and a pathfinder but i owned a 2002 xterra and the fuel mileage was terrible 13 mpg and i had transmission trouble with it also. so in my opinion toyota has made a superior vehicle dont waste your time testing anything else just go and buy the TOYOTA

I'm just curious. Did you test drive a 4Runner? I have an Highlander Ltd and have been looking at the FJ but also considering the 4Runner for my next vehicle.

New FJ owner here too. I have the black cherry manual transmission. Love it! Stick shift is the best for this type of vehicle. Low revs in 6th gear! Saves on gas with the low revs. Great for the commute to work and great for up north! Looked at others but Toyota was the best! I saw the FJ for the first time at the Toronto Auto Show.
