Thx very much for the story and the photos. I seem to be on a 1 man campaign to get Toyota to put a turbo-diesel in the FJ. They do it for the Asian/Australian market in the Prado [ same truck]. Got any pull with anybody at Toyota? The FJ is pretty darned good as is, a diesel would make it perfect, plenty of torque and better fuel economy... well then just manual locking hubs in front would be a nice option... Darn I'm never satisfied. Thx and keep those articles coming, really nice, Mark

A diesel would be an awesome option for the FJ. I bet all who buy the FJ for its true purpose would get the diesel; I know I would.
