they havent for a while, but it'd be nice to fix them...
the thing is... when i looked @ the wiring diagrams in the haynes manuel i didnt see anything on the backup lights. I know that some current can go thru them because i have good bulbs in there and the little light that indicates they're out doesnt come on when the lights are off (it will come on if i take the bulbs out, so @ least i know the diagnostic part works). when i turn the lights on the inicator on the cluster turns on, it seems to me like somewhere the wires corroded to the point where it'll only let very small amounts of current thru, does anyone know how the backup light wiring is run?

thanks :D , i'll check it out this weekend, on a somewhat realted note, my left blinker can be kind of eractic sometimes, it'll blink twice as fast for anywhere from 3 or 4 blinks to maybe 15-20 sec. it'll do this then go back to the normal speed. its only the left side, not the right...i was thinking that what's used to regulate the signal might be tweaked, the capacitor...or whatever else they use? any ideas?

A fast blinker usually means a bad bulb...change all the left side blinker bulbs with the right side ones and see if the problem still occurs. If not, then replace the bulbs.
