Top 20 Selling Vehicles - September 2005lexusis350 10-08-2005, 03:18 PM http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=52230&d=1128373670 Cyorke 10-08-2005, 04:46 PM Does the Ford Econoline Van seel that well that it makes it into the top 20. I am sure the majority are rentals but still. toyotaholic 10-08-2005, 05:00 PM ^im more surprised the ford taurus is on the list...gap between camry and accord just gets wider n wider kasimmmmm 10-08-2005, 10:07 PM those stats must be american... we don't have that many pick-up trucks around here... Cyorke 10-08-2005, 10:19 PM yeha those are for american sales. lexusis350 10-11-2005, 05:06 PM Wonder if the Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey is doing well compared to Chrysler? I thought Chryslers werent very popular, or do the rentals account for those sales? LWF 10-11-2005, 10:07 PM i think the reason y american trucks sold that many is because they have empolyee pricing n stuff, the other reason is because they have diesel....... they have much better mileage + power than gas engine..... the econoline is on the list is because itz the only cargo van that has the diesel engine option...... Dodge (Sprinter) has is now, but so expansive...... I am pretty sure if Toyota trucks have Diesel engines, american trucks wont be on the list.... Razo-E 10-11-2005, 10:18 PM those stats must be american... we don't have that many pick-up trucks around here... i believe the F150 is the best selling vehicle in Canada as well.. pjsammy 10-12-2005, 08:33 AM chrysler & dodge minivans easily outsell honda+toyota. Mainly b/c of price. Most people realize that toy+hon are the best, but they just can't afford em! I think toyota only set modest sales goals for the sienna. They knew they'd never outsell dodge. However, I would wager that toyota makes the same $ (if not more) by selling 100K siennas than dodge does selling 170K caravans! kdhspyder 10-12-2005, 02:40 PM How about the Corolla/Matrix catching the Accord... woohoo. With gas prices up and up I think the only limitation is production. kdhspyder AvalonMan96 10-13-2005, 08:26 PM Toyota Camry +3.4% Honda Accord -1.8% :whatwhat: :ohyeah: :woot: toyotaholic 10-14-2005, 03:00 PM Does the Ford Econoline Van seel that well that it makes it into the top 20. Tideland Prius 10-15-2005, 02:00 AM tray back? must be an Australian thing :D itchyman 10-15-2005, 08:46 AM i would think your pick up truck is the same as our tray back yes australian thing maybe a jargon translater would be of some use articledon 10-23-2005, 11:18 PM Even when the Taurus was really selling Ford used to cheat on the numbers. They used to add the cars which were sold to Fords rental company(Hertz) to their sales figures thus inflating their sales. I assume that is why they are on the list | |
