I just bought 2 12" JL W3's in a sealed box. What amp will go well with it? I'm looking at the rockford fosgate ones. I'm not sure which to get. I'm looking at amps that have the power to supple 250 watts x 2. Thanks a lot.

Tell us how much you want to spend and we can give you a better answer.
I suggest an Orion (not cobolt series) or Soundstream. I will never buy a Rockford product becuase of the bad reviews a friend of mine has given me (and he has owned rockford's 3 previous series amps).

Or for some reason you decide to go JBL

I personally don't like JBL Amps. Speakers yes, Amp no
And of course the best of the best

I'd go for the 600.1 600W+ per W3 is a bit much. The 1200.1 will do like 1350-1400 @ 14.4V.

ROFL...
I'm going for three sealed W3v2s (10" and two 8") and something to power them (JL, S.S. Rubi2s, or Eclipse)... hopefully it all fits in the trunk of the '91 Cam.
JL is probably the nicest of the mainstream sub/amp companies. But Peerless, DTI, Mei Loon, etc. are the best wholesale companies that no one has ever heard of... at least this is what I am told by reputable sources. (cf. AudioNorthwest Competition Club, and several of it's employees)

JL 500/1 is the shits! That is what I use to power my JL 12W6v2. Just be sure to use 4 gauge wires. Damn JL 500/1 amp melted my 8 gauge monster wires!
