My brother in law asked me to look at a faulty window motor in the driver's side door of his '96 Camry. Turns out there's somethieng loose inside the motor that I can't reach. Now for the bad part:
As I was putting the panel back together, suddenly everything stopped working. None of the windows throughout the car would move up or down, and the door locks stopped too. The only odd thing is that i could hear a ticking sound under the dashboard whenever I touched the door lock button.
I couldn't find any blown fuses, but then again there were none marked for the windows or locks.
Any ideas on what happened and how i can fix it?
I really appreciate any suggestions.
thanks,
Eric
