Hey guys I was lookin to buy a remote starter this christmas as a gift. Can you guys tell me some decent brands that arent crap. I checked the archives but didnt come up with much. I did see thet the install is the most important part though. Any help (before christmas ) would be awesome thanks

It's along time til X-mas. So, I'll wait a few weeks to answer you :D

I'm playin'! Do you have an alarm now? If not, consider getting one that has remote staring function as a feature. Otherwise, I think most stand alone remote starters are pretty much the same. Call up a few local shops for quotes and stuff.

Hello I just wanted to let you know that we found that crimestopper has worked very well and you can get all the information you need to install it yourself on line and can get it very reasonably on ebay just make sure you are buying from a person with high positive feedback and it comes with install instructions then you can get the wire color coding you need for your particular vehicle from Toyota or a number of other websites
