EGR Valve

Hey guys, does anybody know where i can get an EGR valve for a 1996 corolla DX. Its for my friend, and he tried pricing one at toyota and its crazy expensive.

So any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, they are expensive. I think about $200 or more for one. Try a salvage yard to find a used oone or it could just be clogged and needs to be cleaned.

Thanks for the reply. I guess i'll tell my buddy to try cleaning it first. If that doesn't work then we'll check the wreckers.
