bleh

I'd rather have a real RC or WRC GT4 instead...
I'm not a huge fan of the new bodystyle...

500 hp isn't shit out of that engine.
There's a guy in FL with a black Alltrac with over 900 hp at the crank.....
Plenty of MR2s and a few US Alltracs over 500hp.
Britain's got a BUNCH of GT4s and MR2s above that...

I have no idea what engine Toyota has put into that shell, maybe 3-4 litre V6 Lexus. 500hp out of a 4 litre engine is not much but out of a two litre engine it is. Generally it is common for cars produce 100hp per one litre of engine capacity. You can squeaze almost unlimited amount of power with Nitros and Turbo but that engine won't go far. If you look at an everyday roadcar that you drive to holidays and work, 400hp from a 2 litre engine is pretty much the tops. Of course assume that you use that max power every now and then. Talking about the power output is one thing but if you talk about car's performance the only thing that matters is power to weight ratio and grip.

It has the 3SGTE in it.
VERY strong 4 cyl.

The long distance race engines had 600 hp.
800 for qualifying.
1000 hp has been pulled from it for short races.

I agree 500 is alot, but it's got a ways to go...
And when I first read about that car [back in 2000], it only had 400 hp.
