RMP Gauge Problem [Archive] - Toyota Forums

I have a question and hopefully some one can answer it....Where does the signal come from for such a diesel landcruiser to the RMP guage? It is a Land Cruiser Prado SX 1992. It is EFI si has the engin control etc.. Does it possibly originate from the Fuel punp or the alternator or where???
