I am dissapointed with the horsepower. Only 270? I expected over 300 horsepower. How can this compete with the Cadillac SRX V8, Saab 9-7X 5.3i, (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/autos/new/model/trimlist/title/porsche_cayenne_2006/*http://autos.yahoo.com/newcars/porsche_cayenne_turbo_2006/18834/style_overview.html;_ylt=ArDPne1GCM1hLPHSqxhm6K4kf L8F)Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Mercedes-Benz ML500, etc.?

Its smaller than the Caddy, its not in exotic category as the Porsche, and the GX-470 is more of a direct competition for the Benz. The RX just hovers in between the compacts and the midsize somewhere.

Or just get the hybrid version. It can beat the ML500 and X5 4.4i (I think it's both 0-60 and ¼ mile).
