IS Wheels Need Cleaning..Help!!!sxdirt 05-16-2006, 06:39 PM I picked up a pair of IS wheels this past week and need to find a way to clean them up. If thats even possible. Anyone have any tips on what to use or do. Or last restort who to send them to? Have you tried wiping it off, or will it not rub off? looks like some tar... theres gata be some heavy duty wheel cleaner out there somewhere maybe some simple green and a abrasive pad? sxdirt 05-16-2006, 06:54 PM That's the thing I dont know what that shit is!!!!...I tried simple green and that did not work...I took scoth bright pad and tried it on a small area but that right away scuffed up the alloy rim..Just thought maybe someone else has had this bird shit looking crust on their wheels and were succesful getting it off... what the hell is that shit? There is usually places that will blast the finish and re-coat them.
