So I was thinking of getting a 2006 tC in the very near future. With the '07s coming out in a few months I figured I could get a good deal.
After checking with Scion's official web site I worked out that my monthly lease payment would be about $252 for 36 months. This is with delivery, tax, title, ect. I'm aware of other minimal costs as individual dealers are concerned.
I go to a dealer and gives me $337 a month. I just sort of chukled and said if there was anything he could do with that price. He then proceeded to explain that there was no way he could lower that. He tells me that other dealerships price their cars a little higher on purpose so they CAN come down in price. But Scions are already priced at exactly what you're going to get it for.
Is he full of it or what? Is this supposed to be a good deal for a $17,000 vehicle? And why such a difference in price from online to in-person?
Thanks :)
