Among the trucks and SUVs with the , highest projected residual values, and therefore to depreciate the least during the ownership period, are:
1. 2006 Toyota 4Runner - 49.3%
2. 2006 Honda CRV - 49.0%
3. 2006 Toyota Sequoia - 48.9% (tie)
3. 2006 Lexus GX 470 - 48.9% (tie)
5. 2006 Toyota RAV4 - 48.8%
The cars and worst depreciation lists are in the link.
toyotaholic 08-08-2006, 09:11 PM surprised lexus isnt first but still 4 out of 5 =D. why arent any toyota/lexus vehicles on the list for vehicles with highest projected residual values.
Bakemono 08-08-2006, 10:44 PM The 4Runners has always held it's value really well. Its great if you are selling, but it sucks that even if you buy one used that a 4Runner is crazy expensive.
Tideland Prius 08-09-2006, 01:43 AM The 4Runner is expected but the Sequoia too? That's a surprise to me.
Kevs Toy 08-10-2006, 05:28 PM The way it was worded, I thought you were implying Toyotas depreciated the most in these categories. I was about to go into cardiac arrest
msm20032003 08-10-2006, 08:15 PM Glad to see the Rav4 on the list.

totally... toyota trucks in general. My friend had a '90 pickup, nice lift kit, 36" tires, good shape, v6 etc. anyways, when he told me he was gonna sell it for $10 000(cad) I laughed in his face. Sure enough, less than 3 days on the market and he sold it for asking price. I was blown away.
Avalonman 08-20-2006, 06:14 PM Well, someone can't count. 1-2-3-3-4
1. 2006 Toyota (http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/08/08/017690.html#) 4Runner - 49.3%
2. 2006 Honda CRV - 49.0%
3. 2006 Toyota Sequoia - 48.9% (tie)
3. 2006 Lexus GX 470 - 48.9% (tie)
5. 2006 Toyota RAV4 - 48.8%
RAV4EVR 08-21-2006, 08:19 AM If the truck is stick shift... RAV4 and 4Runner... then it is a completely different ball game.. I sold 2 stick shift 4Runners and 2 stickshift RAV4s.... and went through hell.... What is wrong with people... I mean all you have to do is change the gears yourself rather than having the car change it for you..... :D
lexusis350 08-21-2006, 09:56 AM Damn, Toyota has the worst value? I hope its not because of the quality. If they improve quality, their value will be higher.
RAV4EVR 08-21-2006, 05:30 PM Damn, Toyota has the worst value? I hope its not because of the quality. If they improve quality, their value will be higher.
What are you reading ?????
sickwilly 08-22-2006, 01:13 PM Well, someone can't count. 1-2-3-3-4

5. 2006 Toyota RAV4 - 48.8%
See the word tie following the Sequoia percentage, and notice that the Lexus GX 470 has the same percentage as the Sequoia--that's why there are two number threes.
EchoHoLiK 08-22-2006, 02:48 PM What are you reading ?????
At least he didn't say his typical phrases such as "I think Toyota's quality is going down" or "man I'm not gonna buy a Toyota anymore"
lexusis350 08-23-2006, 08:56 AM Oh, so the value sticks with the car even with bad quality?
*New Problems with my Car
