Johnny Benson (http://www.nascar.com/drivers/dps/jbenson00/truck/index.html) took advantage of a dust up between race leaders Todd Bodine (http://www.nascar.com/drivers/dps/tbodine00/truck/index.html) and Mike Skinner (http://www.nascar.com/drivers/dps/mskinner00/truck/index.html) to win the Craftsman Truck Series' Toyota Tundra 200 Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway.

With Skinner leading on a green-white-checker restart, Bodine faked to the outside, dropped to the inside, then nudged Skinner up the track. When Skinner returned the favor on the white-flag lap, the two tangled into the wall, allowing Benson to seize the lead and get his third win of the season.
This little tidbit I found kind of interesting as well:
"Todd and I have always been pretty good friends and I guess we still will be but I think he went over the line [Saturday]," Skinner said. "I wouldn't have wrecked him to win the race but he did so he didn't win either.
Bodine disagreed with Skinner's notion.
"I didn't take him out, he came down and I hit him," the series leader said. "The difference was he did wreck me, or tried to, for the win. He pushed me halfway down the front straightaway.
"Skinner and I are supposed to go on vacation in a few weeks. That should be interesting."
 Remember boys, what happens on the track, STAYS on the track!

Didn't get to watch the race 'til the end, but Toyota has been leading for the majority of the night. Good to find out TRD won as well, after not winning for the last 2 races or so. It's amazing to know that Benson, who hasn't been winning for the past 3 seasons, has now already picked up 3 wins. I wonder why that is ;)

On a sidenote, I happened to come across the show "Nascar Race Day" where 3 guys are chatting on a small platform with crowds surrounding them, I don't watch it but happened to be on Speed at that moment when I rested from flipping channels. I wasn't even paying attention, but all of the sudden something in the crowd jumped out like a sore eye, which was some dude holding up a not-so-large flourescent-green sign using black felt marker to write in large that "Toyota sux". I just find that very funny, and obviously that dude is possibly a domestic fanboy or import/Toyota hater or both, maybe even a forum member of GMI?? :saythat: haha
I've to agree. That fanboy's right, of course "Toyota sux," that's why it's kicking the big-3's asses in Craftsman Trucks. We shall see if Toyota "sux more" in next year's Nextel Cup

PS: Lexus won the Grand Am Daytona Prototype race at Watkins Glen as well. Damn, Toyota REALLY SUX

 Thats funny.
Whether the diehard NASCAR fans like it or not, Toyota is coming, they are for real and they will win. It wasnt all that long ago that no one thought they could win in the truck series and anyone who doubts that they will find success in Busch and Cup needs a reality check.
They dominated in the Goody's Dash Series, they are currently dominating in the truck series and I expect a similar performance from them in Busch and Cup.
