 VERY NICE......

I can already see a lot of LOVE MAIL in the comments section.
These so called domestic guys can keep on hating and TOYOTA will keep on sticking its boots so up high their manufacturers' asses that they won't be able to keep their current plants open for long either.... :D ............. not saying Tundra will be do that the first year in 2007 but future is all TOYOTA's... :D

I have seen a trend here for the last few years... Every time a new Toyota is introduced online before it comes on the road, people have all negative comments ( I am sure "who" puts those out there because when the actual car comes out, public wants it.. )

When will these people understand that they are wasting their time.. may be NEVER... too bad...

.......I love how people keep saying its ugly and what not, must be the loyal ford owners getting scared silly.

To find apositive comment about Toyota in there is like finding a Toyta in Wolfsburg... or any other non-Volkswagen for that sake.

At least all they can say is "ugly". Nothing to worry about when the imagination is at that level.

Maybe this has been brought up. Or not: Does the Rear Door/Window seem smaller than the 2005-2006 Model year? The double cab.

I've read this is the largest launch of a vehical by Toyota in its history! Yes the Camry was a big launch and a big deal but this seems to over shadow it. Its good that Toyota is getting the market ready for aftermarket stuff, it will help with the launch and appeal of the truck, I think they should do this with their cars but oh well! I'm kinda partial on the styling but overall I think its bad ass! I can't wait to see it in person!

Yes but the double cab for 2007 is actually the access cab of the current Tundra. The crew cab or whatever they'll call it has yet to be unveiled.

I'm just so used to saying the Double cab is the biggest model. So, let me know if i get this wrong. The Regular cab is the same as last year? And the Access Cab for this year is about the same size as Last years Double Cab. Right? And Toyota is Coming out with a new Larger Crew Cab. Right? :Cheers!:

At least the front bumper on Toyota's trucks aren't hanging off like the domestics. I've never understood that. On some, you can stick 4 fingers through the gap.

I think it looks AWESOME... They do have the sized perfectly AMERICANIZED now... I know many people don't like seeing their Toyotas getting Americanized but that is what America wants. :)

Curious... Is THAT your next truck?

Nope, no more trucks for me. Already have a 67 C-10, 2000 silverado, 2005 tacoma. The latter two should last many more years, and the 67 is my baby that I've had since I was 15. (I've been "wrenchin" on cars since I was a kid, if stuff breaks, I fix it :D) My next vehicle will be a 2009 Camaro SS. Jenas next vehicle will most like be a corolla or camry, whichever will fit our needs, but the current corolla only has 92K on, good for another 100K at least :)

BUT if your asking do I like the new GMC more than the new tundra? I won't lie, the GMC wins hands down in looks (to me.) When it comes to everything else (fuel mileage, power, towing, etc) they will be so closely rated that I could care less about all that stuff. I can't ride around in something I don't like how it looks. (And please don't give me the "GM trucks are shit" crap again, because I have never had any problems with mine.) That answer your question :)

Oh I can not ever question any manufacturer's quality,... especially GM and Ford :)
Why would I? I have no interest in GM and/or Ford. It is like hating Mongolia when you have nothing to do with it.. It offends people but I am not sorry for it. It is my personal liking and I will always have a big applause to anything positive and Toyota related. Again, if it offends people, I am not sorry for it.

Does that mean, I am hating other manufacturers? Absolutely not. I simply have no interest in them and that is why I am not on Edmunds or anywhere saying anything negative about Ford or GM........... BTW... I have not seen very many Chrysler fans here... WTF??......

At the same time, if somebody wants to give me smart ass comments about Toyota,, I will have something to say... .... kind of like you don't want to hear anything bad about your GM truck.......... YES... :D ............. It is kind of like that............ I am sure if somebody has negative comments about your GM, you will be quick to point out negatives about that person's vehicle,... Toyota or Honda or whatever... You may not be as harsh because you have a Toyota too but you will be offended but if you were only a GM fan.... you will not be a happy camper at all.. especially if you are at GMI or some place like that........ like I said in one my earlier posts......... I LOVE YOU MAN !!!! :D................... u know why??? CUZ u have a TACOMA !!!! God I love that truck.

Don't see what's the big deal ... ALL long-bed trucks look weird. Ford F250 longbeds look even worse than the Tundra. Dually longbeds seem to look a bit better due to them being wider.

I'll be heading to the new Tundra ride and drive next Tuesday. Supposedly they're going to let us tow a couple of different trailers with it. Hopefully, we'll get some horsepower numbers, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Yes keep us posted! Let us know your impressions even if they don't reveal spec numbers such as towing and horsepower.
