'95 T-100 DX pickup [Archive] - Toyota Forums

Is there a way to determine if my '95 T-100 pickup has a timing belt or a timing chain without opening up the engine ?? I have been told "belt" by NAPA and "chain" by a Toyota mechanic ??? It has almost 180,000 miles...runs great...ice cold a/c...I would think that if it had the belt, it would have gone by now ?? No record of belt change in service records. Thank you in advance.
