Hi guys. visited a dealership inquiring about the Xa. basically the salesman told me there is no haggling with all scion vehicles saying it's final and non negotiable and will only sell @ msrp no more no less. He called it "pure" pricing or is this "pure" bs. I'm trying to get this a couple over invoice. is he lyin'?!

This has been Scion's policy since day 1, the best I can figure, is that they sell them pretty close to invoice, but they really try and push the options on you to get the real money.

There is very little markup on the Scion brand name. Just ask a salesman, they don't like to sell them unless they sell alot of accessories because there's no money in it.

You can go to Scion.com and see for yourself but Scion "pure price" is Pure truth.

It's harder for the parts departments and Service guys because we have to stand behind every price we advertise. Our websites must colaberate with our price guides and our catalogs. If they're off, we can get repremanded by Scion. It's a long process but in the end, it's better for the consumer. It makes the process painless(to a degree)

p.s. you'll pay more for a used one then a new one but Pure price is NOT part of a used car sale. if you like to haggle, try used.
