Sup guys..
My Camry is a 1998 V6... I've heard that the Apexi SAFC-II does great things for Turbo and/or S/C'ed cars, but how about N/A cars..??
Can I expect good gains from a device like that..??
Thanks..

no the cars are already tuned enough from factory, unless you have other mods like intake and full exhaust there be about nothing.

I have an Injen SRI, a Magnaflow Muffler and I removed my stock cat and on it's place I put a stock diameter exhaust pipe (2.25") ...

SAFC's are trash. Poor tuning resolution for all of them, the early ones are basically a sieres of triggered POTS. You can't begin to do a descent tune on larger injectors with one. They cost around $250usd.
& for $305usd I'll sell you a piggyback that'll not only have signifigantly more tuning resolution & actually be able to do real things. (http://www.perfectpower.com/products/smt6.asp)
And throw in 2x 550cc RX-7 sencondary injectors...

safc is tuning @ WOT only. What about cruising, going to run rich or too lean?

you might, miiight see results if you get better flowing y pipe, but i didnt notice much on my 3vz-fe, and I had ported heads + intake + y pipe back.

I say that because it's the god's honest trueth, and anyone worth their keyboard in salt will have the same opinion. AFC's are *the* lowest tier of tuning known to man, they are not effective in how people generally try to use them & are in general a waste of $200+.
You will never find a more unbiased opinion than mine...

Go ahead and buy camryamnestys...haha. I was going to buy it from him but got one from my family for my 19th bday. I have yet to install mine yet, but it's fairly simple. I wanted one because I plan on nitrous though...so I'm not sure about a N/A engine, but I've heard you can get good gains with professional tuning. That's my two cents.

Ask johnny. (Sea2SkyTuning on any yota forum + AIM) He generally shoots the lowest Perfect Power prices. He's a canadian dealer. (The last time I checked one with the tester they were up to a hair up over $400usd).
I would bust your but if you want one... From talking with him, he's likely going to go with something else in the future & short of me. There is about noone that's wanted to sell a used one in the last 2 years.
Look, it goes like this for relatively avalible North American piggybacks:
Tier 1 (Bleeding edge): SMT7 > E-manage Ultimate
Tier 2 (Last generation) SMT6 >/= E-manage Gold > Unichip (NOT user programmable) > FTC-1
Tier 3 Eldest full feature piggybacks, SAFC II & SAFC I
Last tier. You can use pots to both raise & lower the VS voltage. You can make it as complicated a setup as you want to also. The ceveate is to expect to reset the fuel trims on a weekly, to bi-weekly basis & no hard driving until fuel trims can set themselves under normal driving.
