Is it because of retroprojector that PIAA does not come out as good? Is there a way to get a better view during nigthtime without having to use my high beams (I do not want to make the other drivers blind!!!).

Epsilon 10-12-2006, 07:41 PM In my opinion, the stock bulbs in the factory housing lit up the road pretty well. For better light output, you can always upgrade to HIDs.

in any case, projectors should help with the light output better since they distribute the light evenly... you can aim the low beam higher, or like Epsilon mentioned... HIDs... they do wonders

Epsilon 10-12-2006, 08:14 PM You would have to buy a complete plug and play kit if you don't want to retro an OEM kit with true HID projectors. As for the brand, it depends, how much are you looking to spend on an aftermarket HID kit?

i paid 255 for mine... and it may blind people because of the squirrel finders we have... i've been flashed twice so far, and i've had them for a few weeks now... and yes any aftermarket kit is illegal... but who cares? cops won't bug you much... they look factory

all and all you can get decent output from the stock halogen projectors but you will never get light like you see on BMW's or Acura's because they have HID projectors.
