rippingpants 10-30-2006, 12:29 PM Dear TN Peeps.

Thanks. I copied and paste from another thread and didn't edit it. :)
hybridamp 10-30-2006, 01:38 PM It's worth it if you want it and have the cash. Do you want it? You have to ask yourself that, don't think anyone can really answer it for u.
Epsilon 10-30-2006, 02:38 PM If you have the money, why not just get it? This way, you won't have any regret later on.

kennyc7373 10-30-2006, 04:05 PM I strongly believe in the buy what you need, what you want and what you can afford. It really sucks to pay for options you will never use. Then again it sucks just as much wishing you had held out for certain options. It all comes down to personal choice and what you will be happy with, thats why they have so many options and trim levels. Whats good for me is not good for you.
Research, test drive, compare, research, test drive and compare. Never buy on impulse and shop around for the best deal.

marc780 10-30-2006, 06:00 PM I think its probably worth it for all that stuff, i got my car used but i always wanted the spoiler. Makes it look a little less plain but now is too late so i guess i'll do without.
You're gonna be paying alot more than that just for finacne charge so why not do it. If i may make one suggestion, go for the V6 now! I insisted on a V6 when shopping for mine and never regretted it. Mileage is not much penalty, i get about 25 - 28 in LA driving no less.
brian01togo 10-30-2006, 06:03 PM I Agree W/ El Tano
thoots 10-30-2006, 08:34 PM Well, let's see.....
-Custom Tape Stripe - you mean "pin stripe??" :barf:
-Rear Spoiler - I'll never ever have a spoiler on one of my cars. See above.
-Cargo Net - worthwhile, go price one yourself.
-Trunk Organizer - worthwhile, go price one yourself.
-First Aid Kit - worthwhile, go price one yourself.
-Carpet Mat Set (5 Pc) - worthwhile, go price one yourself.
-Fabric Guard - go price a can of Scotch Guard. (Three bucks?)
-Security System Upgrade - need to know more about this, could be worth it.
-Wheel Locks - not unless you've got some kind of extra-fancy wheels.
-Carpet Floor Mats - wasn't that mentioned above?
-Road Hazard Tire Warranty - probably 100% pure dealer profit.
-Rear Trunk Mat - wasn't that mentioned above?
-Roadside Assistance (3 Yrs/36,000 Miles) - your Toyota is gonna break down within three years?
-Extra Mile Extended Life Tires - what?? Just a warranty, or different tires?
-(3 Years / 36,000 Miles) - you mean from 3 years / 36K miles to 6 years / 100K miles?
-(6 Yrs/100,000 Mile) - probably 100% pure dealer profit again.
Go price the stuff you really want out of that list, and it probably won't be half of what they're selling it to you for. (Not sure about that security system upgrade, though -- that could make a world of difference the other way.) Very likely, this helps the dealer make up for all the profit they lost by offering you a good deal. Not one thing there that you probably couldn't buy for less separately....

El Tano 10-30-2006, 10:56 PM you are welcome rippingpants.
I think that $926 It's a very good price for all those accesories and stuff, there are some things that you may not really realle need but consider them free....BUT I would try to get a better price in the car OUT THE DOOR...
Good luck

How can I get it cheaper considering the Invoice price is $27460? They're already giving me back $400 so total will be $27460. Can I go any lower?
sorry but that price doesn't sound like invoice to me...
they might be lying to you
Joe B 10-31-2006, 06:51 AM sorry but that price doesn't sound like invoice to me...

I agree.
$27460 invoice and that's without Nav and JBL.
No way.
rippingpants 10-31-2006, 08:44 AM I have the print out and he even let me browse around his computer to see all the options in his system.
El Tano 10-31-2006, 10:35 AM Shop around..call different places and push, Just tell the other place that you can get it for 27.000 and if he says yes or somebody says yes, call another place and tell them that you can get it for 26.800 if they want your money and can give you a better price. I called like 10 places, some say get out of here that place It's impossible, and some tried to match it until I got it down to from 27.800 OTD I got it down to 26.000 OUT THE DOOR, taxes, delivery everything and the platinum warranty, this was back then when there were no camry on the lots, I waited for mine...
Push my friend push.......
GOOD LUCK
