Brake Calipers

Brake Calipers on my '96 T-100 3.4L 4x4 seem to have "died" (won't back out). My local dealer has a rebuild kit consisting of seals, bushings. . .(but no pistons) for aroung $35 for both sides. Im debating $ vs. effort on this one, ie. try to rebuild the calipers vs. just replacing them. Does anyone have experienc / advice regarding rebuilding these?

If you can get the rebuild kits for 35$ for both sides, go that route. It's not all that difficult. Once you have em off you're lookin at around 1-1/2 hrs a piece. Worth it to me considering a single new caliper is nearly $100. Good luck :-)

I replaced mine in my 97 t100. Bought them at Napa.
