:ugh3: Hey Guys
I'm in MN and it is cold, -2 degress f last night. Anyways, this only happens when it is cold.
When the truck is cold, it makes a sound coming from wheels. It is a whining, yes loud and other cars can hear it too. Kind of sounds and feels like I'm in 4WD in an old vehicle. OK when going straight but a slight turn to left or right the sound is heard.
It disappears at 30mph. It is not as fast as rpms.
Is it bearings? Is it the 4WD automatic hubs? Is it powersteering (I hope not :sosad: )?
I put it in reverse and it is still there, so it makes me think that it isn't the 4WD components.
It's a 94 reg cab, dx, t100 automatic 4wd 130,000 miles all recall work completed. No hx of problems at all except for this.
