While Toyota currently reaps a billion dollars in net profit a month:whatwhat: it plans to cut future wages and benefits of its US employees :cursin: which is speculated to drive down the US auto industry's pay and benefits.:nono: Worries that its low North American parts content is being watched (less than 40%), the US Congress retaliating. Which leaves me to say:fuckyou: :saythat:

I hope they never make Lexus in the USA. That would be terrible. As for lowering benefits to its employees, what do u think GM, Ford and Chrysler are doing. At least Toyota is creating jobs and not getting rid of them and then wrapping themselves in the flag and crying foul. Personally I dont think anything is going to happen in Congress. Toyota has enough Southern Republican on their side who will block any attempt at trade barrier. Sorry to burst your bubble but nothing is going to happen.

We have a troll, I believe the RX is already made in the N/american continent. Toyota is investing more in the n.american continent more so than say the BIG 3. The company that spends IMO, is the company that wants to win.

LOL! Love how those stupid Michigan Congressmen are lobbying for sanctions against Toyota because the Yen is "apparantly" low.

Last heard the US was taking a dump with their dollar too!

What makes something think they should devalue another country's currency?

Sounds like anothe whiney ass UAW supporter. Toyota has created jobs while the Detroit 3 have been cutting them after they made a bunch of bonehead decisions. Toyota always thinks about the future and does not wish to lay anyone off. Hasn't done so since 1948

the rx330, the corolla and the matrix are all assembled in Cambridge
