I've been searching through the threads and I can't find the answer. I know 20" rims will fit, but what is the recommended offset?

El Tano 03-15-2007, 05:30 PM I'll say +40 but it depends on the with of the rim too.... 07SEV6 03-15-2007, 05:38 PM My fault, I forgot to put it in my first post. I'm planning to get 20 x 8.5 Zinik Z20 Violi http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=11688 (I have a black SE). I was thinking about 245-35-20 for tires but I don't know what brand yet...still researching. lammydi 03-15-2007, 05:51 PM My fault, I forgot to put it in my first post. If you want quieter then go with Pirelli 245-35-20 is perfect. 07SEV6 03-15-2007, 06:02 PM thanks for the recommendations on the tires  Epsilon 03-15-2007, 06:09 PM +35 johny641 03-16-2007, 02:03 PM +35 Ive got my 20's by 8.5 with a +45 offset on 245/35/20 pirelles on a TRD drop works great Epsilon 03-16-2007, 02:52 PM +35 will sit more flush with the fender on a 8.5 wide wheel. El Tano 03-16-2007, 06:54 PM +35 will give you this, comapared with the original: Inner Clearance:9 mm (0.35 inch) less (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) Outer Position: Extend an extra 29 mm (1.14 inch)(position of the outside edge of the wheel) Epilson It's right it will look better PS: ATTE MODERATORS: it takes forever to reply. lammydi 03-16-2007, 06:57 PM My U2 rims is 8.5 with +38 offset | |
