Hi everyone, I have a 1998 Toyota T-100, with the 3.4L V6. I want to do the following to my truck over the summer while I save up money during an internship:

New Intake
New Exhaust
New Sound System (As the music I play is either hit or miss with my current speakers).

I was wondering what you guys would reccomend, I was thinking K&N for the open air intake and that was about it so far. Any ideas would be well appreciated, thanks!

Here are some random pictures, its a 2WD but I like to take it out mudding on occasion. I used to have some real nice clean pictures but I have lost them :(:

Oh and I was also thinking about a spray in bedliner as I currently have a drop in one but it rattles constantly since it isnt fully in place.

From what I've read...the K&N CAI setup doesn't do anything fer our trucks... :(

There should be lots of info on that in various forums... :D

How much you looking to spend on yer truck? Pull yer plastic bedliner out and take a peek at yer bed to check it's condition. Gonna venture to say it might be kinda beat up from those AZ winters... :(

Most people I've found seem to like the LineX spray-in liners. Good service and great product. Can't beat that... ;):D

I had the 3.4 V6, it was a pretty decent motor. I would recommend against the K&N FIPK, but instead go the cheap route with the "Deckplate Mod" It worked great on my 04 Tacoma (it had the 3.4), cheap and decent results for about 20$

As for exhaust, I had a full TRD cat-back exhaust, it was wonderful, albeit very pricey. Cheapest way for better sound is have a muffler (like Magnaflow) welded on where your current one is along with a new exhaust tip, run you about 150$ with labor at a muffler shop.
