That's only part one. Later they strap it to the top of an apartment building and demo the building with the truck on it. And the truck still worked...

I've seen this episode before, its pretty good. I remember with my 87 Toyota Van I hit a curb really hard cause I didn't see it and it didn't really damage anything. The steering was fine and alignment wasn't off (that I can notice). I looked at the side I hit and nothing seemed visibly damaged. Its a tanker!!

I hear they reconditioned it and sold it on Ebay as "executive driven"

Nice. I want to see them test out a newer truck as well. I'd like to see if the solid build is still the same in the new ones.

Makes me want to go outside and hug my Toyota.

Im very confused on wtf your talking about. Corolla alltrac was a wagon, and 3gste - i assume you mean 3sgte and thats only found on the celica in 88-89. Do you mean Celica All-trac?

Honestly, the only part of that I thought was actually worthy of being called impressive was the part where it was in the water for 5 hours. All that other stuff was pretty much superficial damage. Even the fire was superficial when you consider how little damage was done when they pulled it back out. Even the fabric on the seats hadn't burned all the way through, they set fire to the inside of the cab and the inside of the bed and once the shot was done put it out. There wasn't really that much 'fire' damage. The paint was still intact for crying out loud.

Now that made me laugh.

But seriously I wonder if a newer one would be able to withstand the 'water' with all the extra electronics cars have today.
