Paseo sunroof

My son just acquired a 1992 Paseo with a broken sunroof (the glass is broken). The sunroof is the type with a manual latch at the rear to pop up the sunroof. The glass panel can also be removed and stored in the trunk.

In trying to locate a replacement glass panel, I have been told by an auto recycling yard that the Paseo only came with a power sunroof. Can anybody clarify this? Is the manual sunroof really an after market sunroof?

Good question. Honestly I don't know. I'll try to find out for you.

I answered my own question. A couple of calls to other auto recyclers, and most (if not all) sunroofs in Paseos are manual. The original rececyler who told me that the unit in his yard has a power moon roof was actually incorrect. On a re-check of his inventory, it is the manual moon roof my son needs.
