Scion

I didn't really want to make this a big deal and i don't know if there are other threads or something.. but what do you guys think of the new Scions that going to be coming out (xA and xB.. is that their names?)
Personally.. i think the xB... although a bit strange looking... does look kind of cool, and I think it looks better than the honda element.. and for 10 g's less than an element (xB=13,000).... yep gotta go with the xB.... they seem to have lots of features and accessories (neon lights, superchargers, 18 inch wheels)... sounds cool... maybe its a younger generation thing... well do a little research and let everyone know what ya think...

oh and the 2005 solara convertible looks.. wow

Well if you haven't seen the xB or element in real life.

Element is almost twice as big as the xB.

umm... yeah.. but i did hear that... its about 1000 lbs. lighter than the element... it is by no means any type of cargo van i guess :confused:

i've seen a couple, they've already released them here in SoCal...

i just saw one yesterday they aren't that fast looking and i don't see a bright future for them unless they come out with faster cars.

it was wierd i noticed a large black box coming at me from the other way, and then like that it was ... getting gas

I saw an xB a few weeks ago here... it was interesting, but nothing too impressive. I guess it had stock clear tails or something.

Crap.

Stock echo has same engine and boths wieghs less and handles better.

looks pretty good... It's a coupe so that's good..

This part sounds really promising: "The ccX concept is powered by a performance-tuned 2.4-liter dual overhead cam four-cylinder engine"

But I don't know about this:

It comes riced-out from the factory including:
"rides on large 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels"(looks like chrome)
"The vehicle's blue instrument cluster is positioned in the center of the dash"
"and blue LED-type lights are incorporated into the front and rear roof lining for a space-age feel." riiiiiiice :lol: :lol:
But it's loaded with cool stuff too...I don't know, what do you guys think?

hehe, i actually like it, jsut thought the front lights look a lot like the tibby's.

that 2.4 engine will probably be the same engine that's currently in the camry, so that sounds promising. good thing they're finaly making some power, 105 is extremely weak, cuz i think tehy're pretty heavy cars, aren't they?

I kinda like scions'. If and when they go nationwide...i think i'll be one of those getting the Xa's (trading in the solara for that). I already have a camry 1mz, so having some cheaper toyota for office commute seams perfect! Hence comes in Xa! The Xc is also rumored to come a year later with a newer engine (rumored to be the 3sge) 2.0 i4 180hp engine (not the 3sgte)...well..the one w/o the turbo and the intercooler for those who don't know the 3s motor!

Looks like an Aztec/CRX from the back, but overall not bad looking at all. Even the interior would be nice if it were black. I wonder if the motor is swappable into the xB? On second thought we drive Toyotas and not Hondas so that probably isn't the case.

i personally don't like the Scions mainly because of how they look....the one looks like a refrigerator box with wheels....just my .02
