Toyota's take on the Smart-4-2, a continuation of the Endo concept. Wow, more than a foot shorter than the Yaris!! At first glance the exterior styling is a bit weird, but it's growing on me in given time.

I'm loving the interior

Yeah this is cool. I love the original and new MINI's so if this is like the classic it would be cool! At least Toyota's take on it. But it would be cool to have a small car to zip around in and out of traffic like that at least as a secondary car. I don't care about SUV's and what not, they can shove it!

You got that right!

Toyota please make it!! On one condition though. You keep that cool racing wheel for the production version!!

Everything on this car is small. This concept model is powered by a 2 cilinder engine.

This looks like Toyota's answer to the new Fiat 500 instead of the Smart. Looks similar to that car too except this looks more aggressive than the cute Fiat. It looks like the designers wanted as many triangles they can put as possible.

Best-looking Toyota concept ever, period. I'd put put that thing in my driveway now even if it's a death trap.

Hmm; how 'bout a FT-HS that had unfortunate penis-reduction surgery?

I think it looks great too; much better than the Smart.

Here is some more info on this car.
Apparently to "justify" costs they might have to price it higher than originally planned as the cheap car needs more work, that's what I got from it. But hopefully they can figure something out cause it would be cool if they came out with this car!

does any one else notice that toyota concepts always have big brake systems...but they never make it to the real production car?? whats up with that

The concept cars are million dollar prototypes that Toyota wants to make sure don't get damaged.

umm that goes for most concepts to come out. they will find that it isnt necessary to have such parts. mainly becuz 1) this isnt a hardcore performance car and 2) it will cost more money.

The reason is simple because most concept cars are an empy bodyshell. So behind the wheels there is nothing (no suspension, no engine, no drivetrain). If you use normal brakesizes you can look thru the rims beside the disk to see a lot of nothing. So they put bigger brakedisk in to hide that. Pure cosmetic.
