Hi, I just picked up my HB ECHO, I did a research regarding installing the TACH before on ECHO, after I saw my ECU connector, it is totally different than the other ECHO's ECU connector.
So I don't know which wire is the RPM signal on ECU's connector.

Can someone help me out??

I really want to put a tach into my little Hatch too. it would help to control the revs a little better. The car is so darn quiet that I can't even hear the engine running sometimes!

Check out this site for the wiring diagram, tachometer is labled, On the american modles the OBDII port is a 16 pin the first pin on the bottom row, counting left to right is for the tach. This is for the 2000 Echo.
this wiring diagram can show you the tachometer wire off the computer if you want to go there
