you gotta make sure it can handle the load and not breakdown... Toyota people are smart they know they can count on a Chevy. Even thought you have your own trucks you know what the best is... I :clap:you!

my favorite pictures are of Ford trucks working on the site of the Tundra commercials. . . . Toyota was so embaressed about this blunder, they no longer show these in the "making of" portions of thier video's. . . .

So If GM hires a private contractor to make a huge ramp and this private contractor owns a fleet of Fords, is that GMs fault? A contractor doesn't represent the clients products. The Contractor is there to build what the client wants.

But the Nascar pic is hilarious.

I'm not blaming Toyota for the contractors not having a fleet of Toyota trucks. . . . however the pictures do speak volumes about what truck "working men" choose when the real dirty work needs to be done. . . . .

Whatever cheap crap they could find on Craigslist?

LOL sorry, had to.

If I were to buy a truck I'd give them all a try first.

Nah, that's :bullshitz

It's pretty well known that the previous Tundra wasn't up to par for "work truck" status. The '07 wasn't available yet. Give it time. There's already several contractor and utility companies using Tundra's around here.

If Toyota releases a diesel.... game on....

Well I work in rural Texas panhandle and I personally have seen at least 7 of the nearby ranches switch to Tundras. Just a thought... 3 of them, had fifth wheels attatched.

EvoFire: A fifth wheel is the type of hitch coupling used between a tractor (cab) and its trailer. Pickup trucks may have the round, receiving portion placed in the rear cargo bed allowing them to tow larger trailers, usually horse carriers.

You mean that working men wouldn't choose a truck that hasn't been built yet?

Odd, that.

I guess I have to ask why this thread hasnt been locked-down or deleted yet and the original poster banned.
Obviously this thread serves no other purpose than to bash Toyota and since the rules clearly forbid trolling, why are the mods, super mods an admins not taking action?

Wow. . . .post a funny (and ironic) picture about Toyota using a competitors product to haul it's NASCAR truck gear and your ready to declare marshal law. . . . Must have hit a nerve. . . .

Not one cross word about Toyota, say's you. This is a place for like minded people that only praise Toyota, no critics allowed no matter what, right?

Ahhh, maybe your right, TN is so much more entertaining when we all just slap each other on the butt and say "yay Toyota". At least that way we can all have no clue about other’s perspectives/opinions. Perception is reality, you know. . . .

The OP's picture was a joke (with some bia, no doubt), and if you can't find the humor (or irony) in it, your in too deep. . .

It really has nothing to do with the fact that a Chevy is towing a Toyota Nascar trailer. It has to do with the fact that it was a very recent repost with the poster only having 1 post and that being something that's obviously meant to stir crap up. It has troll written all over it.

These troll-advocates would sound and seem so much more important if they would just learn some basic English grammar, for instance, an apostrophe-S ('s) usually signifies possession (e.g. "Sulu's car" means "the one car belonging to Sulu"), NOT pluralism (e.g. "Sulu's cars" means "the two or more cars belonging to Sulu").

That brings an end to my English 101 Class for today. :)

:locked: only because the picture isnt hosted anymore and this thread is going to crap. As for why the OP wasn't banned, he didn't break any forum rules. The Moderators, Super Moderators, Adminstrators are all doing thier jobs (very well I must add), we can't just go around banning people without good reason.
