Toyota posts big gains in China

Toyota enjoyed a 72.6% increase in sales in China during the first half of 2007 when compared to the first half of 2006.The largest increase of any manufacturer.

Very nice! Kudos for Toyota. I know Buick is gaining on VW for that market and Toyota isn't far behind. I know Toyota was worried about China as they (Toyota) have a stigma with being Japanese given the past relationship and current of the Chinese and Japanese generally speaking.
